Coronavirus News: India's coronavirus tally on Sunday rose to 25,89,62 as 63,489 more people tested positive for Covid-19 infection in a day. The death toll climbed to 49,980 with 944 people succumbing to the disease in a span of 24 hours, the health ministry showed. Case fatality rate has declined to 1.94 per cent. The total coronavirus cases in India include 6,77,444 active cases, 18,62,258 discharged/migrated & 49,980 deaths, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said. Phase 1 human trials of Bharat Biotech-ICMR's coronavirus vaccine 'Covaxin' are almost over.
